Just dropping this here again to@make sure I’m staying ahead of the messed up algorithm. Getting close to reaching my new set goal. I’m at 85% of my goal and have received donations from so many amazing individuals. Some of you have donated more than once and others have shared on their posts and stories which has helped generate more traction and donations. A childhood sweethearts adult son even made a nice donation. I am so humbled once again and have revived faith in the goodness that is still present in this crazy world. Shouting out again from the social media void to try and do another fundraising push. I’ve been in the ICU unit between 2 hospitals, St Francis and Holy Family now for a month and 2 days. Tonight I was moved to the main floor because my critical status was lifted but still on round the clock oxygen and a variety of meds, steroids, antifungals, antivirals, etc. to decrease inflammation and infection in my lungs and respiratory system. My landlord contacted me this week and said they were sending me a non-renewal agreement for my lease which is up August 31st. She said if I could get the balance down to just owing the current month due by the beginning of June that they would work with me on renewal. My dear friend Liz shared my GoFundMe link on her feed and that alone helped me raise another $550. I’m currently at about 60% of my goal but still need another $2700 to put things right with my landlord. I ask my friends, family, followers fans of Roost, and anyone who is able to share my campaign to please do so.
