We aim to explore Armenian identity within the University at large, through our storied history, culture, politics, and traditions. The group meets regularly in connection with the Armenian Circle events (organized through the NELC Department), and organizes a Cultural Event and Armenian food-making events throughout the year.
*Membership is open to any registered student of the University of Chicago.

2 hours, a bus, 2 trains and some frostbite later, we made it to St James Armenian Church in Evanston!! Thank you to everyone from and .lfc for making this event come to life- it was amazing to reconnect with old friends and meet new faces as well👭!! Delicious food, great company, perfectly choreographed dances and most importantly a RAFFLE, won by our very own .petrosyan.9 !! Enjoy your free flight to Armenia (but if you don’t want it, I know a few people who would take it off your hands…😀)

Have you ever seen a more beautiful sight? I think not. THANK YOU to everyone who came to our annual tolma-making extravaganza!!! 🇦🇲🍇 I don’t know what got fuller tonight: my stomach, my glass, or my heart🫄🍵🫀 -brings-people-together-quite-like-the-leaves-of-a-grape-vine… !!

Another fantastic year for our ASA!
We had our final sendoff today where we celebrated our graduating students, indulged in delicious mezzes, and of course danced!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again in the Fall 🇦🇲

On Thursday evening, we were joined by Haig Minasian and Nareg Kuyumjian for a presentation on energy security and natural resource control in the South Caucasus. They outlined their multidisciplinary research, and the critical perspectives and methodologies they employ in their respective analyses.
