We are heartbroken to announce that our dear brother, one of our very own and a leader of Ambition Required Minneapolis, Anthony Blas, has tragically passed away.

To know Anthony was to admire him. He embodied discipline and was filled with encouragement, love, and generosity toward everyone he encountered. He had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and inspired to become better.

Anthony’s impact extended far beyond ARRC and into the Minneapolis community as a whole. He was someone his co-leaders, friends, and community could always depend on, not only within the club, but in everyday life. One of the hardest workers we’ve ever known, he constantly pushed himself to his limits while inspiring others to do the same. He was a true testament to the light he carried and the legacy he leaves behind.

What we are building is more than a run club. We are creating a community of people elevating people. We are working to be a space where people no longer have to fight their battles alone, but can overcome them together.

Thank you, Anthony, for the many memories, many smiles & miles, and the countless lives you forever impacted.

40+ athletes who chose to suffer on a Saturday afternoon, and didn’t flinch.

After the work was done, we linked to decompress, eat, and actually talk to each other. That part matters just as much.

This is only the beginning. Vol. 2 is coming and you don’t want to be on the outside looking in.
