CPR WEEK
CPR Training Matters Before an Emergency Happens

In a cardiac emergency, there is no time to β€œlook it up.”

Training helps build the confidence to recognize an emergency, start CPR, and use an AED when every second matters.

CPR training can help you:

βœ” Recognize cardiac arrest
βœ” Start CPR quickly
βœ” Use an AED with confidence
βœ” Respond during real-world emergencies

Preparedness starts before the emergency happens.

CPR WEEK
Hands-Only CPR: Know What To Do

If someone suddenly collapses and is not breathing normally, immediate action matters.

Hands-Only CPR can help keep blood flowing until advanced help arrives.

WHAT TO DO:

βœ” Call 911
βœ” Push hard and fast in the center of the chest
βœ” Allow full chest recoil
βœ” Use an AED as soon as possible

DO NOT:

⚠ Delay action
⚠ Be afraid to help
⚠ Stop compressions unnecessarily

In an emergency, doing something is always better than doing nothing.

This CPR Week, take a moment to learn a skill that could help save a life.

Severe bleeding is not always just about the wound itself.

As blood loss increases, the person may begin to show other warning signs.

🚨 Watch for:
β€’ Pale or clammy skin
β€’ Weakness or trouble standing
β€’ Confusion or unusual behavior
β€’ Dizziness or fainting
β€’ Becoming less responsive

These signs can indicate a serious medical emergency.

Recognize the signs. Act early.

05/25/2026

Not every emergency happens with a crowd around you.

Sometimes you may be the only person there.

If severe bleeding happens and you’re alone:

β€’ Call 911 on speaker if possible
β€’ Apply firm direct pressure immediately
β€’ Use nearby materials if a bleeding kit isn’t available
β€’ Focus on stopping the bleeding first

Simple actions taken early can make a critical difference.
