I did something really dope this week. This was my birthday week, and this week I celebrated with a phenomenal group of individuals. We did something never done. After months of prep, in conjunction with the homies, I was able to bring National Geographic photographers to the southside of Chicago for a week long over night intensive teaching our teens about story telling and photography. Our teens were able to connect with world travelers and build real lasting relationships. The teens captured their community, showed us how they see the world and left with brand new cameras in their hands thanks to our partners. Everyone was moved this week, impacted and transformed. I myself am forever changed and have never been more clear on the path ahead for me. 🌱🪲
