Beware of business's marketing OZONE generators as ways to "eliminate" viruses.

Quote from EPA and CDC:

"To the contrary, NO agency of the federal government has approved these devices for use in occupied spaces."..."because ozone can cause health
problems at high concentrations," (1)

FACTS: "The amount of ozone required to “disinfect” (5ppm to 10ppm) exceeds limits established for public health (NIOSH says 5ppm is considered “immediately dangerous to life”. FDA says limit is .05ppm) (2)

Summation: OZONE generators can provide some benefits BUT it's is not backed by the EPA as a certified/approved method to eliminating SARS-COV-2 in the air or on surfaces. If they are using a OZONE system, its concentrations aren't high enough to properly disinfect all viruses. So if it reads "Eliminates COVID19"....thats' misleading and against EPA guidelines.
