Kitchen 1217 is an idea that was born in the family kitchen of Chef Alonso Beckford. With cooking being his truest gift, he had an idea to combine traditional dishes from his Caribbean heritage with traditional Latin dishes that are deeply imbedded in the lives of his closest friends. The idea is to take these traditional dishes and develop them into more recognizable comfort food that will appeal to foodies everywhere.
