There are three days which mark the transitions between each month in the Hellenic calendar. Agathos Daimon, named after the deity it celebrates, is the last of these days.

But who was the Agathos Daimon? Meaning "good spirit", there were multiple deities associated with the title, including Zeus and Dionysus. The Agathos Daimon either took the form of a snake or a man in ancient art.
