On February 2nd, 1959, Buddy Holly gave his last performance. It was a night of pure, hard driving rock, the likes of which will never be seen again.

Buddy is one of my personal heroes. He was told that a band could not consist of just two guitars, bass, and drums. He was also told that he could not be a songwriter or a producer. Buddy proved all of that wrong, and set the stage for so much of what we take for granted in music today. To honor his legacy, I recorded a cover of his classic song, Heartbeat, available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
