51st BCT - USV Joint Service Command

Tomorrow 14 MAY, Seaman 1st Class Wayne Edward Newton returns home.

S1c Newton was one of the 104 service members killed onboard the U.S.S. California during the attack on Pearl Harbor, 7 DEC 1941.

Decades later, he waa finally identified through DNA testing and his journey home began.

He will be traveling from Indianapolis to Terra Haute, via I-70.

S1c Newton will be laid to rest on 16 MAY in his home town of Terra Haute, IN.
