Teens shooting off fireworks is not a new problem, but 16th District Chicago Police Department Commander Hanrahan said that he was appalled by the overall “disrespectful behavior” which many of the teens displayed toward the responding officers. Around seven were arrested at Oriole Park on Saturday.
On Friday at Dunham Park, several of the teens appeared to welcome a confrontation with police and did not want to back down, a resident said.
