Thank you, Beth for your many years of activism and service! 🧬
A STATEMENT FROM OUR BOARD PRESIDENT, BETH FOX:
As of today, I will be stepping away from the position of Board President to focus on my health. In January, my medical team didn't think I’d be likely to make it through this year. I don’t want my passing to be hurdle to the operations and critical mission of Rehumanize International, so I have been working with Lauren and the board to develop a thorough transition plan.
I am a bit more stable at the moment but still facing a terminal diagnosis. I plan to remain involved and continue serving however I can for as long as I can. I'll be around as long as long I'm around.
It has been my greatest honor to serve as the president of this incredible organization for nearly 6 years, and it does feel a little bittersweet to be stepping out of this role. However, I am very grateful to be leaving the role of President in the very capable hands of experienced Board member Rey Guevara. Additionally, Kyle Murphy, who recently joined our Board, will be stepping up to fill Rey’s position as treasurer, and his knowledge and experience with tax law are going to be an incredible boon to our organization! If anyone has any questions about this transition, please feel free to DM me or email me at [email protected].
If you are interested in getting updates on my medical journey, please feel free to join my WhatsApp group for that purpose. Thank you all for your commitment to life and justice and pursuing a world where everyone can live free from violence, from womb to tomb.

🗣️ JOIN US the weekend of Juneteenth to fight back against police crimes and racist attacks on voting rights!
When: 12 PM, Saturday, June 20th
Where: Federal Plaza, Chicago IL
The recent supreme court decision gutting the Voting Rights Act is a racist attack on the fundamental democratic rights of Black people in the United States. Trump wants to take us back to the era of Jim Crow racism and disenfranchisement that was ushered in with the violent betrayal of reconstruction in 1877. But we will not go back.
Black people and all oppressed people have always fought back against racist and political repression. This Juneteenth weekend, join us in the streets to fight back and demand:
DEFEND VOTING RIGHTS!
DEFEND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY POLICE CRIMES!
FREE SURVIVORS OF TORTURE AND WRONGFUL CONVICTION!
END CPD-ICE COLLABORATION!
When voting rights are under attack, what do we do? STAND UP FIGHT BACK!
