Join us Friday, June 19 from 1–3 PM for the first Community Lemonade Stand of the summer as we celebrate Juneteenth and spotlight someone who has helped make Chicago Ridge Mall a safer, more welcoming place for over a decade.

Meet Nicko Washington, Chicago Ridge Mall's Director of Security. For the past 12 years, Nicko has been dedicated to serving our community with a calm presence, genuine care for people, and a commitment to keeping visitors safe.

A proud husband and devoted father, Nicko is the fourth of ten siblings and knows the importance of family. Life has taught him to cherish every moment with loved ones, and when he's not at the mall, you'll likely find him spending time with his children and extended family. He'll also be the first to admit he's a fan of a good nap.

Stop by, enjoy a free lemonade, hear Nicko's story, and celebrate a community member whose years of service have touched so many people here in Chicago Ridge.

A simple craft can make a big difference. 🪁❤️

Join us Saturday, June 20 from 12 PM – 2 PM for Kids Club: Let Kindness Fly at Chicago Ridge Mall.

Children ages 4-12 are invited to create their own kite-themed craft to take home while also helping spread kindness throughout our community. Kids can create a gratitude card for a local pediatric healthcare worker or a get well card for a child in the hospital, with cards being delivered to our community healthcare partners.

It's a fun afternoon of creativity, community, and giving back, all as part of our 250 Acts of Community initiative.
