Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Code of Federal Regulations 24 CFR Part 570. Agencies with a 501(c)3 who work with the city's low income population may qualify for these funds. The yearly application cycle begins in October. Occasionally funding becomes available throughout the year for general service out of cycle projects.
