Today I visited the Cheyenne National Cemetery to pay respect to the men and women who laid everything on the line to protect our country.

There is a placard there with the Gettysburg Address, and this part stood out to me:

“It is for us the living… to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced… that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion… that these dead shall not have died in vain.”

They gave everything so that future generations could carry forward the American vision of self government. May we continue working to fulfill that vision, 250 years and beyond.

Today I officially filed to run for Wyoming Senate District 31

Public service is an honor and a joy. I am grateful to live in a community where this opportunity is possible, and I am thankful for every chance to meet with neighbors, hear their concerns, and be a voice for the people of Senate District 31.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, prayed for me, challenged me and joined me on the campaign. The road to the August 18 Republican primary will be busy and intense, but I am excited for the work ahead.
