Coach Erickson has been helping athletes in this community for over two decades. A former state champion with Cheyenne Post 6 as a pitcher and infielder, he went on to play college baseball at Bellevue Area College where he was a pitcher until a shoulder injury ended his playing career. Get to know Coach Polton:
Coach Polton was a four-year starter at Colorado Christian University as a corner infielder. He is currently 4th all-time in hits and 3rd in most games played in school history. He prides himself on building up a player’s mental worth, as well as helping guide players in how to handle adversity with confidence. He understands the importance of the mental part of the game and how it can have a powerful impact on the physical part.
