Burkina Faso local officials are embracing participatory budgeting to strengthen trust with citizens.
Supported by USAID - US Agency for International Development’s Inclusive Governance for Resilience (IGR) project, officials in four communes are involving residents in budget discussions, ensuring decisions reflect community priorities. This initiative is fostering transparency and increasing civic engagement.
