Shevah Pinkus, M.Ed is the visionary behind Perfuming Intentions. With a background as a master art educator, she held a school principal certification and an advanced degree in innovative Organizational Development in Arts and Education. Shevah combines academic expertise with practical botanical knowledge to help individuals and teams unlock their full potential in both personal and professional realms. Her work has always embraced diversity training, improving group dynamics and collaborative environments. Shevah draws inspiration from her master's thesis on building strong organizational and community identities. While primarily focused on arts and educational leadership as her career,
her pastime was becoming well versed in holistic wellness, herbal medicine and natural healing. Shevah was determined to relieve the persistent symptoms of the chronic illness that had shadowed her since childhood in order to remedy what western medicine was unable to achieve. This made her transition into botanical work a natural next step. Growing up in an apothecary environment, with a compounding pharmacist father, Shevah's earliest scent memories are of bitter medicine and pungent B vitamins. Much like her medicine-woman great grandmother, she has a natural inclination to offer a healing remedy to those she welcomes into her space. Shevah is a ceremonial artist, skilled in symbolic interpretation, artistic perfume formulations, aromatherapy, and the art of tea. She approaches every interaction with mindfulness and purpose, presenting her products and services with a harmonious blend of art and science. One of her greatest pleasures is engaging with large groups, creating an atmosphere that fosters growth, empowerment, and transformation through the senses.
