Following yesterday's leadership training, our Secretary and Treasurer returned to Thomas Dale High School today for the Virginia PTA Annual Meeting.
In addition to hearing from state and national education leaders and connecting with PTAs from across the Commonwealth, they participated in voting on Virginia PTA bylaws and policies, ensuring C.C. Wells PTA had a voice in decisions that help shape the organization's future.
They also connected with community partners and explored enrichment opportunities that could benefit our students and families.
As a bonus our Treasurer was recognized as Givebacks' Top User in Virginia by logging 106 hours in the platform this year. I'm still not sure if that's a flex or if we should be scheduling an intervention. 😂
