Let It Grow Farm
Our mission is to produce great tasting, healthy, authentic produce with minimal impact on the environment. Since we started, all of our produce is grown sustainably at Larison’s Turkey Farm, a historic landmark in Chester, New Jersey, and each year we improve our methods of production by growing bio-intensive produce using NO GMO seed, no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or fertilizers.

Week 17 CSA: Tulsi basil, new dry farmed fingerling potatoes, shiso, onion, red beets, shish*to peppers, little gem mini romaine lettuce, and big tomatoes. Farm flower CSA bouquet on the last slide.
Our potatoes have successfully done the delicate dance of dry farming. Dry farming means we don't irrigate at all, we rely completely on rain to water the plants. In dry farming, yields tend to be lower, but flavor tends to be higher! These aren't your usual Burbank Russet Idaho storage potatoes. Harvested before the potato plant dies back and begins to form a hard skin for storage. No thick skins on these babies, no peeling required! Cut any big ones up and roast the rest whole. Varieties are Russian Banana and French Fingerling.

Week 12 CSA: Celery, patty pan squash, komatsuna greens, cherry tomatoes, fresh red onion, shish*to peppers, red beets, new fingerling potatoes, and little gem mini romaine lettuce. Farm flower bouquet on second slide.
Tomatoes are humming along, lunchbox peppers are ripening, cucumbers are climbing up their trellis, alliums are curing, fall crops are about to get transplanted and seeded. We are in high summer. Workload is big, pest pressure is high, days start early to avoid the heat. It's all worth it for this bounty to share!
