At a Mellon Research Fellows Recognition Event last week, we recognized the accomplishments of our incredible Mellon Research Fellows!

Fellows from Brightpoint and Reynolds Community College spent almost a year developing research projects under the mentorship of a community college faculty member and a Virginia Commonwealth University faculty connection.

These projects required hours of reading, interviewing, reflection, writing, and learning, in addition to academic gatherings and regular meetings with mentors and peers.
