Obviously, businesses survive by growing their customer base. Local charities are not just wonderful outlets for support, but when you engage with and give to these charities, it can build your company's reputation, your brand and your sales. People simply like to support businesses that support their community. (Forbes.com) Please help us thank our Ruby Buckle who support their community.

How can we possibly thank everyone who helped make the Lowrys High School Rodeo such a special weekend? Thanks to Mack and Nancy Stewart for allowing us to use their arena grounds, Ron and Teri Stephenson for the use of their field for overflow parking, Nancy Stewart and Joyce Baker (and children, grandchildren) for providing delicious concessions, and to the SCHSRA for allowing us to host this rodeo. Many volunteers made your experience more enjoyable by helping with parking, ticket sales, garbage collection, and arena preparation/dragging. Many SCHSRA volunteers provided leadership, both inside and outside of the arena, in conducting the rodeo itself. Finally, our sponsors provide the financial support that allows us to have this rodeo in Lowrys. We'll thank them more specifically later. Dr. Jane Goodall was the first person to observe chimpanzees making and using tools. Some say this is one of the greatest discoveries of the twentieth century. She said, "What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." We are thankful for the many people who choose to make a difference in the lives of our young people, their families, and the many spectators and volunteers associated with high school rodeo. Thank you again, and please forgive us if we failed to list someone. We do appreciate all of you!

Congratulations to Rayleigh Wallace and Westen Morehead for winning the Stephenson Memorial All-Around Cowgirl and All-Around Cowboy awards. These athletes earned the most points for the entire weekend--not an easy task! Congratulations again to these great athletes.
