The Chester Springs Library is one of the smallest libraries in the Chester County Library System and a cornerstone in the Village of Historic Yellow Springs. Our mission is to provide the community with high quality programming and services, ranging from books, CDs and DVDs to computer and Internet access, children's reading programs, and other special events.

The Continental Congress approved the design of a national flag on June 14, 1777. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation establishing a national Flag Day on June 14. Congressional legislation designating that date as national Flag Day was signed into law by President Harry Truman in 1949; the legislation also called upon the president to issue a Flag Day proclamation every year. https://www.loc.gov/
