Cromwell, II is the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. Believing that a mans footsteps are ordered by the Lord; Bishop Cromwell heeded the call to Pastor Trinity Baptist Church in 1989. His ministry is predicated upon the words of Mark 11:23-24, ‘For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which be saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Bishop Cromwell is married to Co-Pastor Debra Anne Cromwell, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia. Co-Pastor Cromwell is the daughter of Mrs. Claristine Johnson and the late Edward G. Johnson of Chesapeake. She is also the mother of three children… Brandis, Megan, Olleo III and grandmother to Jada, Janae and Eli all of Chesapeake, Virginia. She is a graduate of Crestwood High School, Chesapeake, Virginia; Norfolk, State University, Norfolk, Virginia, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education; and she later received her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Masters Degree in Counseling from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Co-Pastor Cromwell is a recent retiree of the Chesapeake Public School System. She is presently the Chancellor of the Faith Diamond Christian Academy which hosts grades K - 8. Pastor O.L. Pastor O.J., as his Trinity family refers to him, is an honor graduate of both Granby High School in Norfolk, VA. And Norfolk State University. Before completing his high school education in the Norfolk Public School System, Pastor O.J. attended school in Chesapeake and played basketball for Great Bridge High School as well as Granby High School. In addition to that, he has been consistently affiliated with numerous basketball teams and leagues throughout his young career. As a result of receiving extensive training and coaching from various AAU Teams and talented coaches in the area, Pastor O.J. was offered the opportunity to attend colleges and universities such as Wesleyan College, Elizabeth City State University, El Paso County College, Shaw University, Holy Cross, Livingstone College, and North Carolina Central University on academic and basketball scholarships. However, recognizing the profound call on his life, Pastor O.J. deemed it necessary to forgo the opportunity to fulfill a childhood dream in exchange for a higher assignment from God. Pastor O.J. is esteemed by his Trinity family because of his passion for the youth and his anointed ability to convey the Word of God. His tenacious manner and relentless effort to reach the unsaved are surpassed only by his tremendous level of faith and ability to overcome obstacles.
