I left a survey today with a very disappointed homeowner. They had been talked into signing a contract and pre-paying for a “pool kit.”

A leisurely box store in the area had taken them for nearly $5000 on a small pool kit with lots of junk parts. We processed an estimate for the same size pool subbing out inferior junk parts for a quality kit with high-quality parts with good warranties. We were able to offer him a vastly superior package and our total came in nearly $200 less expensive.

Unfortunately the box store would not return his money and now he’s stuck with the cheap pool and parts.

The moral of this story is two-fold. First, don’t sign a contract for what these box stores have hundreds of in a warehouse and definitely don’t put down a deposit. You’ll never see that money again.

Second give Wave Motion Pools a call before signing anything or putting down a deposit. We only sell quality pools, liners and accessories. All of our merchandise comes with solid warranties. Rarely do we require a deposit unless your kit includes custom ordered parts. Our contract is an installation contract not a sales contract. We’ve never needed them. Our kits and parts sell themselves. Our pool packages are much higher quality and less expensive than the box store junk packages with trash parts & accessories.
