Happy Bike Month!

There’s just no way I could let Bike Month pass by without some sort of architecture and infrastructure tour by bicycle! Boston’s micromobility infrastructure is something to celebrate!

The best way to tour Boston is by bike and I’ve gotten many requests to do a bicycle architecture tour. So I’m excited to share I’m finally doing it! And the best part is we will keep to separated lanes and glorious infrastructure for 95% of the route.

I’ll be rolling with the crew at . They will lead a Guided Ride Saturday, May 23rd, at 11am to explore the urban loop (featured here!) and share just how magical it can be to ride a bike in Boston. The two-hour ride starts and ends at Lechmere Station.

Then on June 13th, I’ll lead a Streetscape Curator edition of the Guided Ride Series with plenty of architecture and history shared along the way! We’ll end with a post ride snack. More to come but mark your calendars. Space is limited, claim your free spot to both events at the link in bio!

And for those who are going to hit my comment section about bike lanes, remember, if you’re in a car, you are not in traffic. You are traffic!

Toodles!

Take a stroll by Warren’s historic commercial buildings. And be sure to say hello to Achoo at Fort Foreclosure. (Last slide!)

Warren, RI happens to have one of the largest collections of 19th-century commercial buildings. Each one makes you pause and dream what you would do with such a space. Make a cafe? A general store? A pub? They can be anything! To me, they form an architecture of opportunity.

Each one is the story of small business. The story of people that make Warren unique and, yes, maybe a little weird. But that’s what makes Warren an absolutely joy to stroll. There is always something to look at and dream about.

These are just a few snippets from my Wonderfully Weird Whirlwind Weekend in Warren, RI. I’ve got a lot to sort through to share more stories from this small town. Stay Tuned!
