Our annual Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley workday included axe swinging, sawzalling, and easily filling a 20 yard dumpster with our freshly demolished material this past Friday. It was good fun and gave us a greater appreciation of what we put builders thru when we show a few simple lines on drawings.

Construction of our new addition+remodel project on Lake Huron is now underway. The house was a challenge as most of the original walls, floors, and roofs were crooked, as one might expect of a 80 year old structure. So we added onto the north west and south to enlarge it and to develop straight planes. The south addition is rotated clockwise to better view distant Charity Islands.
