José “Pepe” Moquillaza is known in Peru as the “Liquid Storyteller”. He’s on a mission to rescue ancient Peruvian wine and Pisco making grapes and vessels (botijas or piscos).

🍇 Italia is related to or very similar to Muscat and one of the few grapes also used to produce Pisco.

Mimo is a project started by Pepe and Argentine winemaker Matias Michelini. Mimo Italia 2017 is a journey to taste and probably for the adventurous. The wine spends 4 months in 80 year old amphora 🏺 and on the skins. Little to Ø SO2 used
