The Clay Pot

...it was a magical wedding Saturday night for Coty and Marcus! The ceremony, held at Common House, was dreamy with the dramatic arbor, white flowers, lots of candles, and black draping...then the dinner/reception, held at Blackcreek Clubhouse, was the perfect setting for the gathering of friends and family! Congratulations! Thank you for letting The Clay Pot be a part of your special evening!

…birthday flowers going out today with some of my favorites…quince, lenten roses, mondial roses, peonies, lisianthus, pitt, and hydrangeas.

…last night’s The Scout Guide Chattanooga, Volume 11 Launch Party was a “Green Dream”! It was so fun planning this special event with , Editor of and . A few fun design elements we did, a tunnel of smilax arches and pillars for the entranceway…then you walked in to a botanical backdrop of trees, plants, mounds of pine needles, mood moss, light up orbs, and hanging smilax orbs. To create this “green oasis” we use chicken wire coming out of plants to create flowing mounds covered in the pine needles and mood moss. (Thanks to for giving us free pick of any plants on the entire lot!). One of my favorite elements we created were the 14 hanging orbs. To make these, we used 2 XL wire hanging baskets, zip tied them together to create the round forms, we then covered them with chicken wire, and then covered them with smilax. To top them all off for the party, we inserted tap lights to illuminate them. It sure was a magical night and The Clay Pot is so grateful to have been a part of it!
