We’re looking for a new Communications Coordinator to join Southeast Conservation Corps and help tell the stories behind this work. This creative role will lead social media and content creation, blog posts, newsletters, and press releases, all while supporting the broader Conservation Legacy communications strategy that keeps our programs connected and visible.

This past March, SECC hosted a successful USFS Region 8 Individual Placement orientation in Blue Ridge, GA, bringing together placements and partners from four National Forests to prepare for the season ahead in support of Hurricane Helene recovery efforts
This was just the beginning!

IP member highlight this week goes out to Jenna!
From ancient river crossings to 19th-century farmsteads, she is helping uncover and document history at Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.
Through field surveys, GIS mapping, and cultural resource work, they’re supporting responsible access to public spaces while helping protect important stories tied to the land and surrounding communities.
