2nd/3rd shift premium pay. 4 day work week.

Minimum of 5 years setting up and operating CNC machine tools, including machining centers, turning centers, and bridge mills, without assistance, to manufacture and recondition close tolerance component parts to customer and industry standards. Experience running large CNC bridge mills and Mazak/FANUC controls is a plus. Interprets mechanical drawings and sketches and performs precision metal cutting, grinding, shaping and fitting. Measures components, parts, and raw materials with precision measuring instruments, gauges, and tools. Able to apply basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry concepts that apply to machining. The employee must meet the physical demands of the job including but not limited to: frequent sitting, standing, and walking; frequent climbing and balancing on large equipment; frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching; frequent lifting or moving of up to 25lbs.; occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. Works under limited supervision.

Master Machine is adding a Manufacturing Engineer to support our rapidly growing energy segment. The Manufacturing Engineer will be technical support for the manufacturing process by creating manufacturing instructions, procedures, vendor procurement documents, drawings, and other necessary documentation and instruction to meet internal and external customer needs. Additional duties will include support in estimation and tendering activities as well as component functional testing.

Master Machine's energy segment is focused on high specification customers including nuclear and Department of Energy accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a nuclear or high specification manufacturing environment. Experience with nuclear commercial grade dedication and reverse engineering is a plus.

The scope of work for this position will be ever changing in a fast pace customer service oriented technical environment. Projects will vary in scope and scale.
