Most people think having a will means everything is “taken care of.”

It doesn’t.

A will still goes through probate, becomes public record, and can leave families waiting months or years. A trust, on the other hand, allows things to move forward quickly, privately, and with far less stress.

And here’s the part many people miss: a plan only works if someone is empowered to carry it out. That’s why having a trustee matters.
