You may not know this about us if you’re new to our account. And this is a great example of why you should support us…
The Twins aka Chip & Dale came back to us over a year ago (April ‘25) after being in a home for 8 years. Thankfully they have been in a loving, committed foster home (thanks & ) so they are happy and comfortable. But they really need a forever home. They are dog friendly, better with older/calm children, house trained, great on leash, house trained and adorable! They have to stay together. They were rescued together many years ago and have always lived together.
Approx 11.5yo, 9lbs.
Please share them and our other available animals.
WE’RE FULL and will not be able to take on any more dogs until solid fosters or adopters are found. 😕
Please donate. Any amount helps.

Eloise aka Picachu fka Roxy when she was at the SLA shelter early last year. She was adopted within weeks of her coming to us. She was just returned from the same person that had adopted and returned Archie. Eloise was in a home for almost a year.
She is the sweetest girl. Great with everyone with 2 legs and 4 legs.
5yo, 20lbs, healthy and very loving.
Returned due to “life changes” and we are grateful that she is back. This is not what we wanted for her or for Archie. We thought they got their forever home but we are committed to our rescue animals so we will find them true forever homes. They are not considered a bonded pair. They are fine apart.

Buster is one of the lucky ones. He was dumped in someone’s front yard in Palmdale. Scared, dirty, itchy and of course not neutered or chipped.
Thankfully intervened so he didn’t have to go to the scary, crowded shelter.
We’re full and desperately seeking fosters but we couldn’t say no to taking him in. He is recovering from bad skin and will be neutered & BOAS surgery in a couple of weeks. Between now and then he will continue to get medicated baths.
If you are interested in fostering - we have many dogs that are completely vetted and ready for adoption or fostering - we have impeccable references from current and past fosters. Fill out the foster application on our website.
