Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Jaunt table at the Nelson County Health Fair on Saturday, July 18!

We appreciated the opportunity to connect with community members, answer questions, and share information about transportation options available in Nelson County, including reservation-based rides and Lovingston CONNECT service to Charlottesville.

Events like this help us better understand local transportation needs and connect community members, agencies, and organizations with the services Jaunt provides.

Lizzie is a welcoming presence at the front desk and makes a point to know everyone by name. Her warm smile, positive attitude, and willingness to help create a supportive environment for staff, visitors, and the entire Jaunt team.

Recently, Lizzie led the uniform distribution effort with organization, professionalism, and calm under pressure. She also attended all training sessions for the Via launch and stepped in to support the reservations team during launch week, showing tremendous teamwork and flexibility.

Whether she is helping with a major project, jumping in where needed, or brightening someone’s day with a sweet treat from her desk, Lizzie brings care and dedication to everything she does.

29 North CONNECT Stop Change

Beginning Monday, August 3, 2026, the 29 North CONNECT stop currently located at Food Lion in Hollymead will move to a new location at Hollymead Town Center near Kohl’s.

New Stop Location: Hollymead Town Center near Kohl’s Adjacent to First Free Coffee 340 Towncenter Ln, Suite 100Charlottesville, VA 22911

The new stop offers convenient commuter parking, a designated Jaunt bus stop sign, bench seating, and easy access within the
shopping center.

Please begin using the new stop on Aug 3.
