Listeners might know him as Reality Star, outgoing host of Electronic Explorations (Sat, 1-3am), but the artist, composer, and technologist is Brian Lindgren, soon to be UVA Music Ph.D. graduate and professor at State University of New York Plattsburgh. Brian performed on WTJU Rock's Third Rail Saturday night and we all got to experience the instrument of his own design, the electronic viola, or EV, and its calming, moody, stormy, shuddering sounds.
