Maybe the most important kind of wisdom we need from God is simply a better heart knowledge of who he is and how he works:

"Global" Wisdom — China Institute “Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day” (Psalm 25:4-5). 

Are we able to see grief as "good"? And what does that mean?

Good Grief — China Institute “Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word. You are good, and do good; teach me Your statutes. . . It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes” (Psalm 119:67-68, 71).
