Gina Chang and Ty Cooper Grace were hard at work at TutuSchools Seminars (Tutu.Com) in Charlotte, NC, learning from industry experts and refining their skills in tutu and bodice construction.

We're especially grateful to Gina, who is generously donating her time and talent to Charlottesville Ballet this season. Together, Gina and Ty will be creating the stunning costumes for our 2027 production of "Swan Lake."

We are so thankful for their dedication, generosity, and commitment to bringing the magic of ballet to life—one stitch at a time. 🦢🩰

As July marks the start of a new fiscal year for CB, we wanted to take a moment to recap all the amazing CB Moves programs and partners from our 2025-26 Season. We can't wait to continue and build upon these impactful collaborations in 2026-27!

Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Ryland began dancing at age three at The Ballet Conservatory of Asheville. She later earned her BFA in Dance with a Concentration in Ballet from Point Park University and has attended summer programs with Carolina Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and City Ballet of San Diego. Ryland danced with Virginia National Ballet and spent the past two seasons as a Trainee Artist with Charlottesville Ballet before joining the company this season as a Company Artist.
