Black history is not a chapter: it’s a foundation.
At Kind Capacity, we honor Black History Month by recognizing the brilliance, labor, resistance, and care Black communities have offered, often without credit, protection, or rest.
Our work is rooted in the belief that care, consent, and capacity are not new ideas. They are inherited wisdom. And much of that wisdom comes from Black leaders, organizers, healers, and thinkers who built systems of care when none existed for them.
This month, and always, we commit to:
• Naming where our frameworks come from
• Practicing care without extraction
• Building capacity without harm
• Choosing solidarity over performative statements
Black history is living history. We honor it by how we show up.

On January 30, 2026, Kind Capacity will be closed in solidarity with communities impacted by the rise of violence across our nation.
This pause is intentional. Nonviolence includes refusal, rest, and witness.
We will resume business on the following Monday.

✨ Happy New Year from Kind Capacity ✨
As we enter a new year, we’re thinking less about resolutions and more about responsibility — to the missions we serve, the people doing the work, and the communities impacted by it.
At Kind Capacity, we partner with mission-driven organizations to build strategy, create thoughtfully, and strengthen capacity in ways that are ethical, sustainable, and rooted in real-world conditions. We believe lasting impact comes from aligned systems, clear communication, and the creative work that helps missions be understood, supported, and carried forward.
In 2026, our commitment remains the same: to support organizations in doing their work well, without burning out the people behind it.
Wishing our partners and community a steady, grounded start to the year.

✨ Happy Holidays from Kind Capacity ✨
As the year comes to a close, we’re pausing to reflect with gratitude.
For the conversations, the care, the courage, and the people choosing a more humane way forward.
This season, we’re wishing you rest that’s real, boundaries that are honored, and moments of calm that restore your capacity.
Thank you for being part of this work—whether you collaborated with us, followed along, or simply believed something better was possible.
Here’s to the year ahead, rooted in care, clarity, and sustainable change. 🤍
Giving Tuesday is one week away, a reminder of just how much heart nonprofit leaders pour into their communities every single day.
To honor that, Kind Capacity is opening 3 free Care Conversations — gentle, supportive spaces for nonprofit leaders who could use a moment to talk something through, feel seen, or reconnect with their own capacity before the year ends.
No agenda.
No worksheets.
No pressure.
Just care.
Just space.
Just support.
If your organization would like to be considered, simply comment “CARE” below.
We’ll reach out directly and select the 3 recipients on Giving Tuesday.
We’re grateful for you. 💛

✨ Today, we launch Kind Capacity. ✨
We started Kind Capacity because we believe the way we work—especially in mission-driven spaces—needs to change.
Too many of us have carried too much in systems that weren’t built to sustain us.
We help organizations do things differently by bringing:
🌷 Strategic planning with clarity
🌷 Fundraising & communications built on trust
🌷 Operations & digital solutions for real capacity
🌷 Leadership support that centers care, not burnout
This isn’t just about making organizations more efficient—it’s about creating conditions where people and missions can thrive.
We’re officially open for partnerships, collaborations, and conversations. Explore more at 🌐www.kindcapacity.com
Here’s to building a future where kindness is strategy. 💡🌷

🌷✨ Mission-driven people deserve spaces of care, not burnout. ✨🌷
That’s why we created Kind Capacity.
Launching October 1, Kind Capacity is a consulting, creative, and coding studio built for the Aftercare Era. A place where mission-driven people can find respite and support through coaching, connection, and workshops while also accessing real creative solutions for the challenges they face.
Because doing good work shouldn’t cost us our well-being. Because capacity grows when kindness leads.
We can’t wait to share what’s next. 💫

Sometimes we don’t need more pressure.
We need more softness. More gentleness. More grace.
This weekend reminded me that care isn’t something we earn, it’s something we deserve.
Not just in how we rest, but in how we relate. To others. To the work. To ourselves.
🌷🐇 Here’s your reminder:
Trying softer doesn’t mean you care less.
It means you're finally listening to what you actually need.

A little care goes a long way 💚
This morning, I went to IKEA with my mom and while we were there, I was reminded how care can show up in small, everyday ways. Sometimes it’s as simple as a morning together, or the right words at the right moment.
IKEA takes that idea beyond their stores through the IKEA Foundation, they work to create a better everyday life for vulnerable communities around the world. Their initiatives support education, sustainable livelihoods, and disaster response.
In the work we do at Kind Capacity, we know that small, intentional acts of care when rooted in strategy and values can transform whole systems. 💡
