Hostile topography and fickle weather conditions make Nepal one of the most dangerous places to fly in the world.

While making the trek to Everest Base Camp, we saw countless helicopter taxis running up and down the mountains on a daily basis. These taxis brought the sick and wounded down to a lower altitude for treatment. They later transported a few of our own.
