I didn’t realize how much I’d been holding in my hair until this week. 🌙
The last real cut I had was right before Belize… 3–4 years ago. When my marriage ended, I stopped cutting my hair too — like I was carrying all that old energy without even noticing.

Letting someone else cut my hair again was honestly stressful. I haven’t been feeling my best, and it took a lot to sit in that chair. But I did it. And thank God I didn’t have to take off as much as I thought. Straightening it first gave my curls a little break and let me release what needed to go.

Fresh color, richer for winter. A reset. A reminder that healing shows up in the smallest things — even in the hair you finally let go of. 🤍✨
