Hard to believe we are halfway through the year!

Three things I’ve especially appreciated so far this year:

☀️My walk breaks downtown while at my studio
☀️Taking time to get settled in my studio each day, opening the blinds, turning on some music, grabbing a drink from my mini fridge
☀️ Stretching my creativity in all areas, but especially when it comes to branding - really finding the fun in each project

10 years.

Today marks 10 years of Swell Design. Each day I still wake up and feel like I need to pinch myself that this is what I’ve built.

When I started this business, I had no idea where it would lead. I just knew I loved design, loved helping people in the early stages of business, or those going through a period of growth, and wanted to build something of my own.

Over the last decade, Swell Design has grown from a dream into a business that has had the privilege of working with hundreds of incredible clients across the country. We’ve created brands, launched websites, celebrated grand openings, supported pivots, and helped bring countless ideas to life.

What I’m most proud of isn’t the number of projects completed or years in business.

It’s the relationships.

▪️The trust clients place in us.
▪️The amazing team of women I work with.
▪️The referrals.
▪️The emails that start with “a friend told me to reach out.”
▪️The way my kids get to see me do work I love.
▪️The tags on Facebook recommending Swell.
▪️The business owners who allow us to be a small part of their story.

There have been seasons of growth, seasons of uncertainty, MANY late nights, early mornings, figuring things out for the first time, and A LOT of podcasts and audiobooks listened to.

And through it all, this business has allowed me to build a career I love while also being present for the people I love most.

To every client, supporter, referral partner, team member, friend, and family member who has been part of this journey: thank you.

Ten years feels both incredibly long and like it flew by in a blink.
