Working my 🍑 off this week and next trying to finish up my MFA residency (that actually still has about a year left). We’re reading Pulitzer Prize winning books on mental health and lots of lyrical essays all the while trying to craft our own manuscripts. It’s a lot of fun but a lot of work and once you set about the task of writing about your experience, it seems never ending. I’d like to think this is a good thing and where the best stories live.

Thanks for all the ❤️ Looking forward to 2019 in so many ways. And for my next trick, I’ll ring in the New Year with Netflix + chill 📺

Happy Saturday! Letting this little butterfly remind me that spring is coming and change is good 🦋 I’ve been super reflective these last few weeks and am currently asking myself lots of questions that basically boil down to “What do I want my life to look like?” And the beauty of this is that I truly believe I (we all) possess the power to manifest whatever that thing is. Once I figure it out, I fully intend on putting my heart and energy into it, learning from the last, striving for the future but most imprtnsny being present.

This truly has been quite the year. As of December 22, Restoration is one year old. This year has been full of ups and downs and good people and challenges and lessons and greatness. I’m so excited for what 2019 has in store. But, for the next 2 1/2 weeks or so I am taking a brief hiatus for graduate school residency. It would be insanity to pretend I can to it all these next few weeks. As we usher in the New Year, one thing I’m hoping to incorporate is laying down my need to do all things for all people at all times. So, I’m taking a little breather, meaning I may post, I may not. I am simply taking off some pressure so I can live more simply. Thanks for all of your love, support, purchases and shares. You guys are the s**t.

Anybody else excited for tomorrow? If you’re looking for excellent vintage for gifts or, let’s get real, yourself, then this is the place to be. Now let’s all do an anti-rain-dance to keep it dry out. And while we’re at it, let’s try for warm, too, okay? Here’s a little photo of my setup the other week at ❤️
