Totally unrelated, some things that are helping me get through this quarantine: Netflix. Jesus. Night time walks w/ girlfriends in the neighborhood (yes, at a safe distance) after all the kids are in bed. Chris being home & us having beers together at lunch (&/or for a snack).🍻 Being in our yard. Netflix. ‘s Instagram account. Phone calls. Netflix.😅🤷🏻‍♀️ What’s been helping y’all get through quarantine life??

It’s 4:27pm & I’ve just realized it is Wednesday, not Tuesday.🤷🏻‍♀️ Here’s a detail shot from earlier this year of a master bedroom designed by the lovely . I got down on my hands & knees to touch that rug (felt like cotton candy) & I couldn’t decide what to stare at longest, that bench or the crucifix.😍

All they want to do is be with their friends & play popcorn on the trampoline & wrestle & play flashlight tag & sing those hand slapping songs, Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack, & gather at the corner to do chalk art & have everyone over for s’mores & movie night. It’s all any of us want to do. Instead, we’re thinking of ways to bring smiles to the faces we can’t get close to right now.
