And while they often infuse those different methods into their productions, they understand the power and purpose in speaking the stories every time, in every show. In addition to their award-winning storytelling production series Muddy Turtle Talks, they have produced a multitude of other shows that have shown in different cities and some all virtual. Epoch Tribe productions have told the stories of those facing gentrification and displacement, Black women and their experiences with maternal healthcare, communities impacted by crime and gun violence, white supremacy and police violence, immigrants and their contributions to our country, and more. Hannah and Shardae are grateful that they have been chosen to do this work. They continue to speak the stories that aren’t often spoken and to empower others to do the same.
