In this demo, the M&J 4000M 8 Knife was used for shredding and separation of white goods, while the onboard cross belt magnet helped separate foam and ferrous metal to produce a cleaner, milspec-ready product.

1,000 lb bale shredded in under 5 minutes.
This timelapse condenses the entire process into 30 seconds, showing the M&J M4000 12 Knife transforming a dense bale into a versatile material stream ready for downstream separation. The goal: liberate the hard outer shell, create stringy fibers, and separate the fibers from the hurd for further processing.
From here, the material would run over an Ecostar system to create multiple usable fractions:
• Light fraction repurposed into concrete applications
• Mid fraction with strong fibrous recovery potential
• Oversized fraction compacted into roofing tiles
One bale. Multiple end markets.
