Every so often, I’d get a call that went something like this: “Hey, Crystal! I know you’re busy, but my friend is planning something, and it’s sounding like a HOT MESS, GIRL. I told them, to just call you!” 😂

My heart sank when I got the message that one of our LOYAL clients had passed. Then it sank even further when, just hours later, her best friend texted me asking if I could help plan her memorial. I’d never planned something like this before, and never in a million years did I think it would be for a client who had turned into a friend.

When I walked into the house and her husband said, “Crystal, Charne’ would have just said to call you—you’d know what to do,” I felt my heart skip again. I prayed so hard for strength, asking God to guide me and give me a clear planning strategy so that Charne could have the send-off she so rightfully deserved.

Thank you to for introducing me to Charne years ago (you truly are the ultimate connector). And to the Fletcher family, thank you for trusting me with such a lasting memory.

Finally, because I know you’re up in heaven, laughing and smiling, and having a good “ole time; thank you, , for showing me what a truly giving heart looks like. Your love and light will be missed here, but your impact is shining brighter than ever from above. 💕
