One of our own is on the struggle bus. We found a lump on Snoop's neck about 3 weeks ago. Turns out he has lymphoma (not sure on the type). He had his first round of chemo yesterday, and is handling it like a champ. Snoop can be a jerk, but he's our jerk.

NOTE: No donation money has been, or will be used for Snoop's medical expense. Anything we receive goes to others.

It's been a while. We're still here. We helped out another dog even! Mookie lives in the Cleveland area, and was recently taken in as a foster when her owner wasn't able to take care of her for the time being. Her foster parent found out that she hadn't been spayed, and she was very behind on her vaccines. So we helped her out. We're doing good things over here left and right. If left and right is about twice a year.

More on the punk side of things than the Poochie side of things, I got a chance to meet Frankie from the Spit In My Face Podcast while at Tommy's Pub for a punk show. Great guy, and a fun podcast. If you're in the market for some new music, give it a listen.

We've helped our third dog! This was a big one for us. Vincent is a 3 year old lab mix that was in need of CCL repair surgery (you can see him having issues with the leg in one of the included pics). 3 years is way too young to go on with life having these kinds of issues. We didn't cover the entire bill (CCL surgery is pricey), but we covered a good chunk of it, and were happy to do it. I've spoken with Vincent's dog mom Victoria, and so far he is doing well post-surgery. Hopefully he keeps on improving.

Website is back up and running.

The website is down right now. We're not going anywhere, just moving over to another server to save some money. It'll be back up in a couple days.

Haven't posted in a while. We still exist! In fact, we've helped our second dog! Ruby is having some spinal issues, and needed some tests to figure out the problem. Fortunately, the vet seems to think the issues should resolve themselves with meds opposed to surgery, but it's a wait and see kind of thing. Hopefully everything works out. Thank you to Thone for letting us help out with her dog.

Happy Holidays, everyone!

So far all of my posts have been about the Poochie side of Punks for Poochie. I haven't said anything about the Punks part. While at The Fest in Gainesville, FL this year, my wife and I got a chance to meet a few of the members of Tightwire and we did a small merch trade with them. If you don't know Tightwire, you should. Great band and super nice people.
