In 2023, UMAR, now a division of Monarch, joined the Monarch family of services under a common mission of caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The two organizations shared similar histories as each was established by caring, concerned community and church members, seeking to provide needed services and opportunities where few existed.
Thank you for making the 2025 UMAR Charlotte Luncheon such a joyful and impactful event! From laughter-filled games to artwork and springtime plants created by the people we support, the day was truly something special.
With your generosity, we raised over $294,000 to continue empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across our programs.
