gan to develop a love for baking and wanted to help mom bake every chance he could. Of course, this sparked another idea for a business, since he wanted to share his skills with everyone he knew. Cooking became an outlet for him to relax, forget his worries and get in quality time with the ones he loved the most. When Josiah turned 7, he was inspired as he struggled to learn “The Writing Process” in second grade. The worldwide COVID-19 Pandemic shook everyone. As writing became more daunting and difficult, Josiah’s mother stepped in to help him. She began to have him create short stories to tell about what he was feeling at that moment. Of course, this sparked something in him, and in just 90 days, he wrote A book and became a published author. “Writing gives you a way to express yourself,” say’s Josiah. This was the first time Josiah’s “bad” situation turned into a profitable one for him. He launched his book at a Business Shower and made over $500 in sales his first time. This motivated Josiah even more and he was asked to attend a few events after as a vendor. During a fashion show event that Josiah was a part of, he was asked to speak about his book and told the entire audience that he was a public speaker. Well, that was the first time his mom had heard him say that, which would not be the last time he mentioned it.
