No one cares about your discipline until they see your results.
I had to learn this the hard way.
There was a season where I unfollowed almost everyone ahead of me. Mentors. Industry leaders. People I admired. Not because I didn't respect them, but because I was spending more time comparing myself to their journey than building my own.
I was watching their highlight reels while I was still in the grind. And the grind is invisible. No one's paying attention when you're heads-down figuring out who you want to be and what you want your company to become.
That's the reality of building something. The discipline phase is lonely. You're putting in the reps. Making the hard calls. Sacrificing the easy path. And the world keeps scrolling.
Then one day, the results show up. And suddenly people want to know how you did it.
They didn't see the early mornings. The doubt. The unfollowing. The quiet work of becoming.
They only see what you built.
So if you're in that invisible season right now, keep going. The discipline will eventually speak for itself. You just have to stay in it long enough for the results to catch up.

When I was young, I wanted to gather.
As I've gotten older, all I want to do is give.
It took me a long time to understand the difference. In my twenties, I measured success by what I could accumulate. The title. The account. The recognition. I was building a scoreboard.
Somewhere along the way, the scoreboard stopped mattering.
Now I measure success differently. By the people I can help. The knowledge I can share. The doors I can open for someone else. The gathering phase taught me how to build. The giving phase taught me why it matters.
Blessed people bless people.
That's the whole point. If you've been given something, whether it's experience, resources, or opportunity, the next step isn't to hold it tighter. It's to pass it forward.
